The team at Crumay Parnes Associates Inc. is working hard to keep you and your family safe. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are limiting our face-to-face encounters with patients.
With that said, we are proud to be able to offer our patients an alternative to coming into the office by way of teledermatology visits.
We are using Doxy.me, a telemedicine program that allows medical providers to perform routine appointments for both new and existing patients by connecting over the Internet. Most insurance plans, including Medicare, are covering this service due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To schedule a virtual visit, kindly contact our office during business hours at 717-763-7685. We will also need a valid email address to proceed.
Once you have been scheduled, you will be sent a link via email directing you to our secure, HIPAA compliant, telemedicine platform (Doxy.me) to begin your visit. You will not need an account or a download to use Doxy.me.
First, a medical assistant will gather some information regarding your concern(s), gather a list of medications and note any allergies if applicable. Next, your medical provider will join in to perform your exam, make any diagnoses, and prescribe medications if needed.
Rest assured that if prescriptions are needed, we will send the script(s) electronically to the pharmacy of your choosing.
Tips for a successful appointment:
- Use the following browsers supported by Doxy.me: Google Chrome or Firefox. Please download prior to your appointment if necessary.
- Make sure you have Internet service.
- Situate yourself in a quiet and well-lit room for your visit.
- If you are using a computer, please ensure that your webcam and microphone are working before your visit.
- Alternatively, you may also use your smartphone or tablet.
- Have your medication list ready.
